Slime care

1. Clean Hands, Happy Slime

Before and after playing with slime, wash and dry your hands. This keeps your slime fresh and free from debris.

2. Playtime Magic

Play with your slime for about 15 minutes each day. Remember, the more you play, the softer it becomes! Knead it a bit to get that perfect texture. With proper care, slimes can last a few months. However, it’s normal for them to deflate or melt over time due to the nature of their ingredients.

3. Slime’s Beauty Sleep

When you’re done, close your slime back in its container. This prevents it from drying out and keeps it looking new.

4. Cool & Dry

Store your slime in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Slime loves a cozy spot!

5. My slime is too stiff !

If your slime feels a bit stiff, it may be because it was overactivated! Do not panic, use some warm water or lotion to bring it back to life. You can also put back your slime in its box and leave it in a warm place.  Work it until you get the right consistency.

6. My slime is too sticky !

Mix a small amount of activator (borax solution) with water and slowly add it to the slime until the desired consistency is reached.

You can buy activator here.

7. My slime is melty !

Place the slime in its container in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to firm up.

8. I got slime on my clothes !

First, use a spoon and gently lift away as much as slime as possible. Then, combine equal parts distilled white vinegar and water in a spray bottle or small bowl. Vinegar breaks down the slime bonds without harming the fabric.

Spray the vinegar-water solution onto the slime stained area or dab it with a microfiber cloth. Let it sit for five minutes before washing the clothes.
